Event Details
Experience the joy of building cultural bridges with the youth of Europe as you explore urban centers and small towns, culminating in participation in the 2005 International Youth Festival in Nitra, Slovakia.
You will assist in building a youth program in the city of Most, Czech Republic--one of the few cities in Europe with no steeples. You will stop for concerts in towns and cities such as Bratislava, Gyor, Nitra, Prague, Nurnberg, Vienna. You will make friends, learn about cultures, share your faith and learn more about God from others.
Educational Safaris is the global education and overseas service program of BuildaBridge International. Safaris are designed as both arts-integrated educational excursions and arts service/ministry opportunities. Optional college credit is offered through Eastern University. (Tuition cost is separate.) Cultural activities, history lectures, language study and environmental excursions are integrated as part of the learning experience.
The program fee of $3010 is inclusive of airfare, lodging, food, insurance, and group excursions. Deadline for application is March 1, 2005, and must be accompanied by a non-refundable $250 deposit.
